1. Hardware Independency: Emydex are not tied to any specific hardware providers or vendors offering customers the flexibility to:

   • Install Emydex on any existing hardware, saving cost
   • Source hardware directly from 3rd party suppliers, saving cost
   • Shop-around or switch hardware providers as required, saving cost

2. Ease of Integration: Emydex’s open architecture means it can easily integrate with any hardware device such as scales or indicators, weigh price labelers, as well as most 3rd party software systems such as financials, ERP or 3rd party cold store systems.

3. Ease of Customisation: Through a layer of Business logic and metadata (stored in database) written specifically for each customer, Emydex software can be customised to suit any existing business practices or processes so that customers never need to adapt their existing business processes to suit the system

4. Ease of Use: Emydex is designed so as to give customers without in-house programming skills the ability to configure or create forms and reports as required. Users can easily add new questions, create labels, increase buttons sizes, change navigation and menu bars as required without the need to call on Emydex
