Dawn Meats

With its headquarters in Waterford in Ireland, Dawn Meats is Ireland's largest red meat processor, and is one of the largest suppliers of Irish and British beef, pork and lamb in Europe.

Dawn Meats processes in excess of 500,000 cattle & 1,000,000 lambs per year, from which it produces 200,000 tonnes of added value meat products, including 55,000 tonnes of consumer packs

The group's turnover is in excess of €900 million and operates 12 beef and lamb processing plants spread over Ireland, the UK and France.

A customer since 2005, to date Emydex factory floor software has been rolled out to Dawn’s 4 Irish beef processing plants in Grannagh (HQ), Rathdowney, Charleville and Ballyhaunis, as well as the group's Highland meats beef plant in Scotland. All remaining plants are due for rollout over 2010 and 2011.

Kepaq Group

The Kepak Group is one of Ireland's largest red meat producer processing over 300,000 cattle, 1.5 million lambs and 25,000 tonnes of consumer foods per annum

The group's turnover is in excess of €750 million and they employ over 2000 people at 8 manufacturing plants located across Ireland and the UK.

Kepak are an Emydex customer since 2006 when Emydex's production management software platform was rolled out in the group's main beef & lamb processing plant in Clonee, Co Meath

In Clonee, Emydex software monitors, controls and reports on beef production door to door from arrival at the factory gates, through kill line, carcass management, into boning, packing, warehousing and dispatch.

Emydex software has also been rolled out in Kepak's beef processing plants in Ballymahon, Kilbeggan, Athleague and Hacketstown. The system is currently being rolled out in Kepak's lamb processing plant in Cork, with Wakefield UK planned for implementation in the latter half of 2010

Dunbia Meats

Founded by brothers Jim and Jack Dobson in 1976, Dunbia is one of the leading meat processing companies in the UK.

Headquartered in Dungannon, Northern Ireland, the company formerly known as Dungannon Meats, employs over 2500 people and has an annual turnover in excess of £450m

Dunbia operates from 10 sites located in Northern Ireland, England, Scotland, Wales and the Republic of Ireland. On average Dunbia processes 7,650 cattle, 57,500 lambs and packs 1,500 tonnes of fresh meat products every week.

A customer since 2007, Emydex has so far been rolled to Dunbia plants in Dungannon and Ballymena (N.Ir), Kilbeggan (Ire) , Sawley & Preston (Eng), Elgin (Scot) and Llanybydder (Wales).

O'Kane Poultry

Founded in 1932 by the late W.P. O'Kane, O'Kane Poultry is a family-owned business.

The group operates two hatcheries a feed mill and a processing plant and employs over 1500 people.

The group encompasses both chicken and turkey production, and produces over 500 different product lines

O'Kane Poultry are a major supplier to both the retail and food service sector supplying branded and own-label products to blue-chip companies throughout the UK and Ireland.

QK Meats

Established in 1991, Qk Meats, a member of the Queally group of companies, enjoyed rapid growth to become one of the leading processors of beef in Ireland.

QK's primary customers are value-added food producers, supermarkets, wholesalers, retail outlets and meat processing plants located throughout Ireland, the UK, Europe, Russia and the Middle East.

QK have been loyal Emydex customer since 2004, using the production management platform for packing, warehousing and bonding.

Dawn Pork & Bacon

Started in 1986 Dawn Pork & Bacon's operation consists of pork slaughtering through to deboning.

Dawn Pork & Bacon provide pork products to customers in countries world-wide including mainland Europe, Japan, Korea, USA, Russia and Ireland

An Emydex customer since 2006, Dawn Pork and Bacon use Emydex software for packing, warehousing and dispatch, as well as sales order processing and yield reporting through delivery of a full set of Yield reports specifically customised for Dawn Pork & Bacon’s requirements.
