The Core system software comprising:
- Data Collection System - a data capture system for collecting data from factory floor food processing systems
- Data Management System - a data management system for analysing and reporting on food processing data captured
- Software Modules- optional software Modules that integrate with each other and the underlying data management system
The core system accounts for around 70% of all code in an Emydex system. There is only one version of the core for all customers, in all industries, in all markets.
Industry Solutions - 20%
Customised versions of the Software Modules for specific Food Industries such as Pork, Poultry, Beef , Lamb, and Retail (Cooked Meats).
Other industries such as Fish can also be easily catered for.
Industry specific systems account for a further 20% of all code in an Emydex system. There is only one version of each Industry solution for all customers, in all markets.

Business Logic - 10%
A layer of business logic (code) written specifically for an individual customer or customer group. This can include business logic to cater for customer specific business processes or customer specific integrations to 3rd party systems like ERPs, customer and supplier systems or 3rd party warehousing systems
Business logic accounts for around 10% or less of all code in an Emydex system. Customers can opt to implement a standard meat system out-of-the-box without having to customise a single line of business logic or they can opt to customise it a little or a lot. The flexibility is there to work whichever way you choose.
