5th Year in a row at Deloitte Fast 50 Awards
Emydex Technology are delighted to be included in the Deloitte Technology Fast 50 Awards for the 5th year in a row, achieving some 528% cumulative growth in revenue since the first year entered.
The awards, which are in their seventeenth year in Ireland, recognise the contribution of indigenous companies to the overall technology sector in Ireland, and indeed the overall economy. Cumulatively, the 2016 Fast 50 winners generated approximately €1.6 billion in total annual revenues in 2015.

The Fast 50 programme, now in its sixteenth year in Ireland, ranks the fastest growing technology companies in the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland.

Rankings are based on average percentage revenue growth over five years, over which period Emydex revenues grew by 400%. This is Emydex’s 3rd year in a row making the Deloitte Fast 50 listing. Last year the company ranked in 16th position in Ireland, also achieving the EMEA Technology Fast 500 listing.
Emydex climbs 10 places in Deloitte Fast 50 awards 2013
Emydex listing 16th in the Deloitte Technology Fast 50 awards was secured on foot of a 362% growth in the company’s revenue since 2008, and represents a climb of ten places since last year’s Fast 50 listing, when Emydex was placed 26th, based on revenue growth of 269%.

Emydex picked up their first award at the Deloitte Technology Fast 50 awards, held in the Guinness Storehouse in Dublin on Saturday. The Fast 50 awards rank the 50 fastest-growing technology companies in Ireland based on percentage revenue growth over a five-year period. Coming in at 26th place on foot of cumulative revenue growth of 234%, David McMahon, Emydex CEO said “this represents an average growth rate of 30% year-on-year over the past 5 years. We’re happy with this level of performance and would be happy to sustain this level of growth for the next 5 years. It was great to be sitting at the same table with companies like Openet and Version 1, stalwarts of the Irish Technology Sector over the past 10 years.” One of the highlights on the evening was a key note speech given by Dr Chris Horn, co-founder of Iona Technologies.
Fingal Business Excellence Awards
Also at the Crowne Plaza Hotel Northwood, Emydex picked up their second award of the evening, winning the Smart Technology Excellence Award, sponsored by IBM, at Fingal Business Excellence Awards 2012. Hosted by Marty Whelan the black-tie award ceremony was attended by over 400 people. Both Emydex parties joined up later in the evening to celebrate the double award success.

Innovation in IT Award
For the second year running, Emydex Technology were announced winners of the 2011 Innovation in IT award at the D15 Chamber of Commerce ceremony held in the Crowne Plaza Hotel & Country Club on Friday 7th October.
Sponsored by IBM, this award cements Emydex position as not only a successful Irish Technology company operating within the Agri-food space, but also as a leading Irish technology company within the wider business landscape.
