{"id":61551,"date":"2026-09-21T17:17:15","date_gmt":"2026-09-21T16:17:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.emydex.com\/emycon-2026-people-first-elevated-by-ai\/"},"modified":"2026-10-27T08:52:14","modified_gmt":"2026-10-27T08:52:14","slug":"emycon-2026-people-first-elevated-by-ai","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.emydex.com\/us\/emycon-2026-people-first-elevated-by-ai\/","title":{"rendered":"Emycon 2026: People First, Elevated by AI"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"PDq2pG_selectionAnchorContainer\" data-start=\"895\" data-end=\"986\">On 27 August, the Emydex team came together for Emycon 2026, our annual company-wide event.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"988\" data-end=\"1195\">Colleagues joined from <strong data-start=\"1011\" data-end=\"1125\">Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, South Africa, Italy, Slovakia, Poland, Colombia and the United States<\/strong>, while our partner BAADER also joined from <strong>L\u00fcbeck, Germany<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"1197\" data-end=\"1457\">With teams working across different time zones, Emycon ran in two sessions. The first brought together colleagues in Australia and New Zealand, followed by a second session for Europe and North America, with part of the team also attending in person in Dublin.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"PDq2pG_selectionAnchorContainer\" data-section-id=\"dk1rb5\" data-start=\"1459\" data-end=\"1496\">Company updates from across Emydex<\/h3>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"1498\" data-end=\"1617\">Emycon gives each area of the business an opportunity to share what teams have been working on and what is coming next.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1619\" data-end=\"1765\">This year&#8217;s programme included updates on key projects, product developments, customer activity and priorities across different teams and regions.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1767\" data-end=\"1939\">For colleagues working in different markets and functions, it also provides a wider view of what is happening across Emydex and how different areas of the business connect.<\/p>\n<h3 data-section-id=\"iac0cx\" data-start=\"1941\" data-end=\"1958\">AI in practice<\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"1960\" data-end=\"2047\">AI was a significant part of this year&#8217;s programme alongside the wider company updates.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2049\" data-end=\"2230\">The sessions included training, demonstrations and practical examples of how AI tools are already being used within Emydex to support day-to-day work and improve existing processes.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2232\" data-end=\"2480\">Rather than focusing on AI as a future concept, the programme looked at how teams can use it now: making it easier to work with information, reducing time spent on repetitive tasks and supporting people in carrying out their roles more efficiently.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2482\" data-end=\"2613\">Colleagues were also able to see examples from other teams and consider where similar approaches could be useful in their own work.<\/p>\n<h3 data-section-id=\"13njx7x\" data-start=\"2615\" data-end=\"2646\">People First, Elevated by AI<\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"2648\" data-end=\"2725\">This year&#8217;s theme, <strong data-start=\"2667\" data-end=\"2699\">People First, Elevated by AI<\/strong>, reflected that approach.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2727\" data-end=\"2942\">AI is being introduced alongside the knowledge already within Emydex, including our experience in food processing, our software expertise and the understanding of customers that teams have developed over many years.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2944\" data-end=\"3136\">The focus is on using these tools where they can improve the way we work, while keeping people&#8217;s knowledge and judgement at the centre of how we develop our products and support our customers.<\/p>\n<h3 data-section-id=\"1q39s7f\" data-start=\"3138\" data-end=\"3162\">A global Emydex event<\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"3164\" data-end=\"3417\">This year&#8217;s Emycon connected colleagues across <strong data-start=\"3211\" data-end=\"3259\">10 countries and more than a dozen locations<\/strong>, from Dublin, Cork, Galway and Sligo to Auckland, Christchurch, Brisbane, Perth, Adelaide, Krak\u00f3w, Sasaima and locations across Canada and the United States.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"3419\" data-end=\"3670\">For a team working across several regions, Emycon is a valuable opportunity to bring everyone together and keep the wider business connected.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"3672\" data-end=\"3836\">If you would like to learn more about Emydex and how we work with food processors around the world, visit our <a href=\"https:\/\/www.emydex.com\/us\/about-us\/why-emydex\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong data-start=\"3782\" data-end=\"3796\">Why Emydex<\/strong><\/a> page or <a href=\"https:\/\/www.emydex.com\/us\/contact\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong data-start=\"3805\" data-end=\"3835\">get in touch with our team<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>On 27 August, the Emydex team came together for Emycon 2026, our annual company-wide event.
