Despite being designed for meat processing, Emydex is also ideally suited to handle processing such as Milk, cheese, infant formula, baking etc.
Similar to Meat, Fish and Food products, many Dairy products like Milk, Cheese and Yoghurt are perishable products with a short shelf life. Dairy products like cheese can also be inconsistent in their form, and can be sold as either fixed or variable weight finished goods, whether in bulk, bags, packs, boxes or pallets.
For all Dairy processing products, the Emydex software platform has been designed to capture production data from factory door to door, delivering plant managers real-time accurate reporting on production, stocks, quality and traceability.

Following the successful implementation of Emydex’s Recipe System in the Cannery factory in Kerry Flavours & Ingredients last year, work is about to commence on a second Recipe system for a separate Powder Area of the factory. The system will monitor, control and provide real-time Traceability reporting on the dispensing of ingredients used to produce Infant formula destined for export markets.

Intake
The Emydex software allows customers to intake their raw product into the processing facility capturing the required traceability information. This can then be stored until it is ready to be processed, with Emydex maintaining the inventory levels of the raw material.
Processing Jobs
Customers are able to configure jobs that suit their process to be able to maintain traceability and report on yields and giveaways. These can cover slicing, folding, flavouring, mixing, pasteurizing, cutting, grating, aging etc.
Packing & Processing
The Emydex packing and processing module allows customers to manage all aspects of their packing process which includes the ability to execute pack/case/pallet labelling, pack to sales orders or direct to stock. Emydex is also able to integrate to Automatic weigh price labelling (WPL) machines to control master data, batch runs and machine statistics which allows for real-time reporting within the Emydex application.
