Livestock Payments
System Features
In combination with the animal appointments module, the Emydex Animal Payments module streamlines livestock settlements for all traders involved in the procurement of livestock such as:
- Livestock Suppliers / Farmers
- Haulers
- Agents
- Buyers
- Service Kill
An unlimited number of flexible payment grids using any data from the carcass or appointment data. These are managed via effective dates to allow costings over week or period end dates. These price grids can be configured based on various characteristics of animals which can be collected throughout the factory.
Automated deductions or allowances that can either affect the trader payment or be for costing purposes only such as an inter-department ‘processing fee.’ These adjustments can affect the per kilogram/pound rate or show as a separate line item.
Adjustments can be triggered by carcass attributes such as a deduction for a disease or defect code or be based on adjustments for Carcass numbers such as a government levy.
The ability to easily select and adjust ranges of Carcass records if manual adjustments are required can be done quickly and easily.
The use of Emydex real-time factory floor data that is captured throughout the process can be used in calculations to determine animal settlements. Any of this data is easily surfaced in the payments system to cater for changes to how your business pays for animals over time.
The settlement ledger gives a clear overview of all the settlements for all traders separated by each trader but also a full combined listing with the key details. The ability to then drill into each settlement to view all the details and calculations.
The Emydex system provides the ability to attach documents to any livestock settlement, such as the Transportation Declaration documents, and government movement documents (Passports/NVD's/etc) providing a single system for all reporting needs
Using the Emydex BI app, you can immediately surface payment information into visual dashboards to identify high and low-performing traders, monitor trends and identify issues.
If you are using a 3rd party reporting tools, data can be exposed using our open architecture approach.
