Liffey Meats has evolved over 5 generations in the cattle industry to its present day status as one of Ireland's leading meat exporters. They supply beef to a variety of customers in Irelandand Europe including Sainsburys, Morrisons, Lidl and Mercadona.
Liffey Meats specialise in beef processing, de-boning value-added manufacturing for thefoodservice and retail sector. Liffey's main beef factory is in Ballyjamesduff, Co. Cavan. The group also operates two further beef slaughtering plants in Hacketstown and Ballinasloe.
Initially, Emydex’s beef kill line and payments system were installed at Liffey Meats’ plants in Hackettstown and Ballinasloe back in December 2011. But soon after go-live they added lots of business specific reports and customisations to match their existing processes. The Emydex team configured their requirements quickly and without hassle.
Liffey Meats’ Value Added burger, mince and steak plant in Ballyjamesduff was then rolled out using Emydex's recipe system in early 2012.
