A leading sheep meat processor and exporter
WAMMCO International (Western Australian Meat Marketing Co-operative) is a farmer-owned cooperative and one of Australia’s leading lamb and mutton processors and exporters.
With more than 700 producer-members, WAMMCO operates two major processing facilities: the Katanning plant in Western Australia, the largest employer in the Great Southern region, and the Goulburn plant in New South Wales, which operates under the Southern Meats brand.
Together, these plants process up to 50,000 head of lamb and mutton each week,
supplying premium products to domestic customers and export markets in more than
50 countries. All products are Halal certified, with some processed as organic lamb.

WAMMCO partnered with Emydex to implement a modern, integrated factory floor solution across its multi-site operations, improving real-time data capture, traceability, and operational efficiency, and supporting its mission to deliver strong returns to farmer-members while meeting growing global demand.
