Emydex Carcass Management software is currently operating in over 40 Meat Processing plants around the world. The Emydex Carcass Management system handles the processing of animals from the Kill Line grading station to disposal via Into-boning, Dispatch or Write-off. It can be used either as An-add on to the Emydex kill line system module to complete the abattoir cost centre or it can be used as the Intake for de-boning plants.

Complete your chiller assessments using Emydex handheld devices. Scan the carcass ticket and update details such as PH decline, marbling & meat colour etc for real-time reporting

Carcass Modelling & Carcass Splitting

The Emydex Carcass modeling and splitting engine can be used to model carcass cut configurations and derive the parts of the remaining cuts of a carcass based on the parts of the cut removed. This feature can also be used to calculate derived weights and update carcass stocks.

Carcass Intake

Intake carcass or quarters into the factory with the ability to weigh, label and capture the required traceability data etc. Increase intake efficiency and accuracy by using Advance Shipping Notes. Send intake details to the ERP for payment processing.

Carcass Dispatch

Dispatch carcasses or quarters against sales orders to a customer or transfer orders to another plant within the organisation. Choose to weigh at dispatch to capture chiller shrink/cold weight or use the weight assigned on the kill line with a calculated reduction.

Into Boning

Create work orders for de-boning requirements and allocate batches against into boning transactions for traceability & yield reporting. Use the work orders to prioritise the de-boning sequence of livestock categories. Capture the cold weight to measure chiller shrink or use a calculated cold weight and measure the input for yield reporting.

Filter Rules

Ensure operators are not mixing product by validating the input of a carcass against configurable filter rules, e.g. Organic/halal vs Non-Organic/halal. Ensure that operators are not downgrading product e.g scanning Prime Angus into manufacturing cow runs.
