Emydex Cold Store System has all the capabilities you would expect from a Warehouse Management System such as Stock Intake, Palletising, Put-Away, Sales Order Picking, Container Loading and Dispatch. It also has the ability to carry out stock transfers, stock takes/checks and stock reconciliation, as well as providing real-time and accurate stock reporting.

A key feature of the Emydex Cold Storage system is real-time traceability of stock throughout each stage of the process, from in-take right through to dispatch, allowing for box-level traceability through the blast freeze process also.

System Features

Customer Intake

Intake product from customers with or without transfer/intake orders in advance. Integration to customers systems to ensure warehouse stock is in sync with customers inventory records. Ability to receive ASN or leverage GS1 standard barcodes to make intake process more efficient and less error-prone

Job Processing

Create jobs such as blast freezing, re-palletizing, product tempering, pallet sorting etc, for operators in the warehouse to complete and invoice customers for the necessary jobs at required rates. These jobs are configurable by operators in the Emydex back-office client.

Stock maps

Emydex is able to transform locations within the Emydex system into interactive visual stock maps.

This allows customers to draw the warehouse within the application which will reflect real-time stock levels. It also allows customised searches which instantly highlights where in the warehouse the stock is.

Sales Order Picking & Transfers

Sales orders can be keyed directly into Emydex or received from the ERP system which will then instruct operators to pick product against the orders. Transfer orders can be entered to allow transferring of stock to the customer's factories. Supervisors can see picking progress in real-time via reporting or dashboards.

Web Portal

Emydex web-portal allows customers to remotely connect to see inventory levels, stock enquiry, enter sales orders and ASN’s. This can also be provided to our customers-customers which can reduce the amount of admin work required.

Customer Invoicing

Emydex Cold store module allows customers to generate invoices for their customers which can include storage, blast freezing, dispatching, tempering, down stacking etc. These can be calculated per box/case or pallet as required.
