
A local fisherman's co-operative of 11 ships
The Galway & Aran Fisherman’s Co-op is located in Rossaveal Harbour, County Galway. The co-operative consists of a fleet of eleven fishing vessels as well as a number of smaller fishing vessels.
The Galway & Aran co-op sells mainly whitefish, shellfish and a small amount of pelagic fish, mainly sold through the auction house it manages in a new modern building located close to the Harbourmasters office.
