System Features

Raw Material Intake

The Emydex intake module allows customers to intake raw material against pre-entered purchase orders or create them on the fly. Emydex can work with suppliers to make intake processing more efficient the ever by using GS1 standard barcodes or receiving ASN (advance shipping notes) before delivery. During intake operators are able to capture the required traceability information and quality checks.

Recipe Planning

Customers can avail of the Emydex recipe planning function which is able to plan against standard batches, custom batch sizes, raw material inventory or sales order-driven. These plans will then create the required work orders and provide reporting for raw material & packaging demand can be created.

Recipe Blending & Formulation

Maintaining traceability, quality and consistency is key through the blending process. The Emydex recipe formulation ensures that operators are fulfilling the blending process according to the restriction’s setup within the recipe BoM. The system is able to report on variances, substitution, and manage give away for fixed weight items.

Jobs & Processing

Jobs are able to be configured within the Emydex system to manage various processes throughout the factory such as, tumbling, smoking, portioning, breading, brining etc. Emydex is able to manage inputs and outputs of each job to ensure traceability, yield reporting and to track efficiency for each job.

Packing & Processing

The Emydex packing and processing module allows customers to manage all aspects of their packing process which includes the ability to execute pack/case/pallet labelling, pack to sales orders or direct to stock. Emydex is also able to integrate to Automatic weigh price labelling (WPL) machines to control master data, batch runs and machine statistics which allows for real-time reporting within the Emydex application
